This new Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer video is all about proficiencies and progressions of the weapons. Inside you can find tons of details regarding the new weapon ranking system.
Through this progression you can unlock better upgrades for weapons, such as attachments, camo, sights, etc. You can continue to personalize weapons even more with proficiencies, which lets you customize attributes of your weapon.
Modern Warfare 3 Weapon Proficiencies
- Kick – reduced recoil while firing
- Range – increased range
- Impact – bullets carry more damage through materials
- Attachments – two attachments can be added to a weapon
- Focus – reduced flinch when hit
- Melee (SMG class only) – faster melee
- Speed (LMG class only) – faster movement with weapon equipped
- Damage (Shotgun class only) – shells do more damage
- Breath (Assault class only) – hold breath while aiming down the sights
- Stability – less sway
